Mines Bureau spearheads budget call preparation in Davao City

Tuguegarao City, Cagayan- The Mines and Geosciences Bureau Central Office recently spearheaded the Enhanced Unified Reporting System Seminar-Workshop cum Budget Call Preparation for CY 2021 Budget Proposal of MGB held in Davao City.

The seminar-workshop aimed to facilitate the timely submission of 2020 Physical and Financial Accountability Reports and efficient preparation of 2021 Budget Proposals.

On the first day of the training, Ms. Daria K. Malinao, Chief Budget Officer, Financial and Management Division discussed to the participants the 2020 Personnel Services (PS) Allotment Requirements per National Expenditure Program (NEP) while Edna R. Lorilla, Chief of Administrative Section talked about the 2020 Actual PS Requirements per NEP. Also discussed were the Administration of Personnel Benefits for Mandatory Retirees and additional releases for PS requirements.

Enhanced Unified Reporting System (URS) was also tackled during the workshop and discussed by Jimmy Trinidad Benavente, Budget Management Specialist II, Department of Budget and Management (DBM).

After the series of talks, a workshop on 2021 budget proposal was initiated.

The event was participated in by five employees from MGB Region 02, namely: Imee Gatan- Agaloos, OIC Finance and Administrative Division, Angelina T. Somera, Accountant III, Maribeth G. Tumaliuan, OIC, Administrative Section, Diana Imie B. Estrada, Planning Officer/Budget Officer Designate, and Grachel S. Ignacio, C/Economist/Assistant Planning Officer.
